Paco Palencia led Pumas to the 2016 Apetura semis in his debut season. Paco Palencia is out as manager of Liga MX club Pumas following a disappointing start to the 2017 Apertura. The former Mexico international exits following Tuesday's 2-1 home loss to Morelia, leaving the Mexico City club in 14th place in the Liga MX league table.
